Obituary


Lois Satala, nee Vodraska, age 87, of Westmont, formerly of LaGrange Park. Beloved wife of 68 years to the late Edward J. Satala, Sr.; dear mother of Edward J. Satala, Jr., Sheryl (John) Grever and Mark (Stacy) Satala; grandmother of Matthew (Bridget) Grever, Philip Satala, Laura (Nicholas) Roth, Adam Satala, Kristen Satala, Tara Satala and Anna Satala; great grandmother of Henry, Colin, Charlie, James and Emma.

After raising a family, Lois started working at several law firms, ending her legal career at the Baker & McKenzie Law Firm as their Office Manager. Becoming a Real Estate Broker working for LaGrange Area Realtors, she retired from her real estate career after working with her husband Edward for over 20 years in their own Real Estate business. Lois found time in all this to be a dedicated board member of Ceska Besida and Beacon Place Condominium Association. Spiritually she was a minister of Care at LaGrange Hospital and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Louise de Marillac Church. Her family is forever grateful for all the time she loved to spend with them.

Visitation Friday, April 12, 2024, 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Saturday, April 13, 2024, 9:30 A.M. to 10 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd., 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield, Il 60513. Funeral Saturday 10 A.M. to St. Louise de Marillac Church, La Grange Park, Mass 10:30 A.M.

Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Queen of all Saints Mausoleum, Hillside.
