Born June 18, 1922 and at Rest March 5, 2021
Lee Michal, nee Bartos, age 98, a 70 year resident of Brookfield formerly of Berwyn, passed away peacefully with her family by her side.  Beloved wife of the late Captain Milo Michal; loving mother of Sandee Lee (Theodore S. Wright, Jr., M.D.) Wright; dear sister of the late Mae Ahntholz, Rose Kropacek and Libby Marousek; aunt of several nieces and nephews. She was a 1940 Graduate of Morton East High School, an accomplished Jitterbug dancer at Melody Mill, and a meticulous beautician. Known for her authentic Czech cooking and exuberant card playing, she was above all else a devoted and compassionate wife and mother. Her wise counsel to family and friends based on common sense instincts was cherished by all. She will be dearly missed.

To keep everyone safe and healthy, service and entombment at Woodlawn Cemetery are private.
