Our mother Kathleen “Kitty” Gaughan has started her next adventure! Having been Born on a farm in Oldleighlin, Co. Carlow, Ireland on February 11th 1923 to a family of 9 children. To Eamon and Anne (nee Doran).  Kitty never was at a loss for companionship. Kitty’s childhood tales are the fabric of Irish Lore. Kitty traveled to London to get her nursing certificate and then immigrated to America where she married her long-term sweetheart John T Gaughan (Deceased). Through their many years of they raised a family of 5 boys John J. (deceased), Edmund (Susan), Kevin (deceased), Gerald, Barry(Maureen)And loved each and everyone of her grandchildren Kenzie, Shane, Gerald, Ashley, Jack,, Layla, Dayton Darby, and great grandchild Owen

From her family, her furry friends, and her gardens. She did it well. Always bringing that glorious Irish smile to make you feel safe and loved.
We now know she is in proper hands of her Lord and those who passed before her.

We rejoice in the knowledge our Mother now resides in Heaven with our Father , who we know came to usher her on her transcendence in her final moments here on earth.

Due to Covid-19 regulations the family has elected to keep Visitation and Services Private for family members.
Private Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
