  4. Kimberly Kuda Zeman Tomkins condolence:

Mark and Denise and your families: I have loved your mother as if she were my own since I was a very little girl. So many funny and wonderful memories. Twinkle, tents in the back yard, weddings on the front porch, the Warren Dunes. Your mother had such a way of loving all things big and small. Her beauty, her charm , her graceful manner, her wisdom, her sincere interest in others, her special way of making everyone in her life feel as if he/she was the only person in the room, her faith in God, her love of family and friends… but of all these attributes, the Kuda family loved her humor and warm and inviting ways. She has been my role model my entire life. Your parents were like ours. “.
“Here’s to them, the best there was.” May God in His infinite mercy comfort you and give you strength at this time and in the days and months ahead. Our mothers are once again enjoying each others’ company and laughing and watching over us. The table is now complete, Eddie, Stan, Dody and June can once again sit in their beautiful backyards and treasure the greatest gift of all, LOVE of family (children) and friends: the Morton Avenue and Cleveland Avenue Bohemians. We love you… Kim, Bob and the rest of my family.

  5. Bonna Esterson Lester condolence:

To Mark and Denise and families – so sorry to lose my dearest friend. Even after moving to California, we couldn’t be parted. I visited Chicago many times and June and Stan came to California occasionally. One special trip to Tahoe with daughter, Donna is a loving memory of those two. I am so very lucky to have had such a dear person like June in my life.

  6. Jean (Ruhlach) Grimmer condolence:

DEAR DENISE AND MARK AND FAMILY,
Thinking lots about Aunt June and how she was so full of energy and laughter when all of us were together growing up. She was always the spotlight of all get togethers! Aunt June and Uncle Stan —-they were quite a pair……..and now they are together again. Both free of their earthly ailments….and as Denise put it so wonderfully “my mother passed into the arms of Jesus at 5:07 Thursday morning”.

Aunt June, you are loved. My boys have fond memories of you and the loving ways that you cared about them the few times we were able to get together. I thank you for that.
Denise and Mark, my prayers are for you two during this time. You have an awesome mama!
Love from Jean, Jayson, Josh, Chris, and Mike

  7. Natalia Menjivar condolence:

I am so sorry to hear of Grandma’s passing. I have so many wonderful memories from my childhood that include her and Grandpa Stanley. Grandma always did a special activity for each grandchild, and I fondly remember getting to sleep over and see the Nutcracker ballet. We celebrated just about every Easter, Christmas, and Thanksgiving together, and for those gatherings, I am forever grateful. Grandma always had a warm smile on her face. She was so easy to talk to and always asked me about the latest boy. I loved showing her my latest projects or photos – she was always so interested and receptive. She had a wonderful sense of humor and could put a smile on anyone’s face. I also remember Grandma June and Grandpa Stanley attending my “Take your grandparents to school day” – it was my first year at a new school, and they came up from Illinois to be there for me. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for giving me a set of grandparents to grow up with. I love you. My thoughts and prayers go out to Uncle Mark, Aunty Jill, Jack, Mardi, Aunty Denise, Uncle Frank, Nathan and Christy. Love, Natalia

  10. Tyler Sanchez condolence:

Dear Mark, Denise, and family — I am so sorry to hear of Grandma June’s passing. She was a loving, caring, and all around incredibly thoughtful woman. I remember when I was a child, she and Grandpa Stanley took me to the Renaissance Faire for the day and we had a great time walking around, watching jousting, and just being together and talking. And then there were Easters and other Holidays when the whole family would come together at her house and they were always special days. I feel privileged to have had someone in my life who cared so much about others and all I know is that she lived a long and fulfilled life and is in a better place now. I love you Grandma and we’ll forever miss you dearly.
