McCarthy, nee Carter; fond father of Patrice (Joseph) Kastner, Shawn (Una) McCarthy and Brian McCarthy; dear grandfather of Jennifer (Mark) Vanderploeg, Scott Kastner, Kelly Kastner, Megan McCarthy and Patrick McCarthy. Uncle of many nieces and nephews; brother of Edward (Annette) McCarthy and the late Margaret (Jack) Taylor. Interment private Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
