Jennifer Lynn Jani, nee Youngmark, age 42, of Brookfield, formerly of Aurora passed away unexpectedly on January 15, 2022. Beloved wife of John Jani; loving mother of Amelia; dear daughter of John (Tiffany) Youngmark and Karen Fatout; sister of Mary Youngmark, Heather Youngmark and Chelsea (Ryan) Hammer; aunt of Connor Hammer; daughter in law of John (Ruth) Jani and Elizabeth (Peter) Jaffe; sister in law of Jeff Jani; granddaughter of Barb Fatout; preceded in death by Grandparents Samuel Fatout and Don and Winifred Youngmark. Jennifer was a friend to so many. She loved life and had a gift for bringing those she loved together. She was passionate about Amelia’s Girl Scout and softball activities. She loved being a part of the Brookfield Women’s Club, cheering on the Cubs, and singing along to any music she heard. She is fiercely loved and will be forever missed.

Visitation Friday, January 21, 2022 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 11:30 A.M. to time of Service 12 Noon at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 West 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513.

    My heart is ripped into pieces. Just 29 days ago you guys were here. Us girls were getting our nails done, we were at the pool, the beach, mini golf, Columbia, sitting out back watching the gator. I thank God for our visit. I thank God for you.!!!!!! You are so beautiful on the outside, but more importantly you are soooooooooooooooo beautiful on the inside. I’m thankful for the talks we had, giggles and so much more!!!! I was at Aldis on Friday, I almost texted you about what crackers you said to buy for a charcuterie board. I’m kicking myself for not doing so. We said our I love you’s with tears picking you up and dropping you off at the airport. You’re in the arms of Jesus, you’re with my mom. That gives me comfort. You’re singing in heavens choir now!!!!!!!!! I miss and love you more!!!!!!!!!!!
