  2. Iris - Christa Alberts condolence:

I am deeply saddened to hear that dear Jean has left this material world .
Your shock and sorrow must be immense .
She has an amazing and strong spirit which will stay with those you knew her .
Jean was there to welcome me when I arrived in the US in 1972. She embraced me with an open heart . Many warm family times were spent together in Illinois in the 1970’s. Eventhough we have lived miles apart and last saw each other 20 years we stayed in regular contact and shared each others joys and sorrows in an honest and heartfelt way . I am deeply sorry that visits were never realized . I had rough plans to see her in spring . We always talked about which airport I should fly to.
Jean was generous with her love.
She embroidered my daughter a lovely holiday pillowcase which is well loved and still in use 24 years later . Jean has kept me in her life for 40 years. Her wisdom ,compassion and support were very important to me . Her love of her children and grandchildren was evident in what she said and did .

My thoughts are with all the family members .
