Grace E. Lacny, nee Hansen, age 98 of LaGrange Park formerly of Brookfield. Beloved wife of the late Joseph S. Lacny, fond mother of Paul (Eileen) Lacny, Patricia (the late David) Steffens, Christine (William) Blandford and Thomas (Lynnette) Lacny; dear “Great GRA” of 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; sister of the late Leonard Robert “Bob” (the late Ina) Hansen.
Visitation Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 8 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. and Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield. Funeral Saturday 9:30 A.M. to St. Louise de Marillac Church, La Grange Park. Mass 10:00 A.M.
Per State Mandate All guests attending any indoor services are required to wear a mask.
Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
Grace spent her life as a beloved wife and mother and strong matriarch to the extended family. She was very active during her middle life in St. Barbara's Parish in volunteer activities including Mother's Clubs, School and Student Support Groups, and prayer and music activities. For six plus years in the Bethlehem Woods she was active in the community in various Prayer Societies, Rosary Groups, and Music Sing-a-longs.
