Gerald “Jerry” A. Carlson, age 89, Korea War Air Force Veteran, of Brookfield. Beloved husband of 67 years to Madeline Carlson, nee Condon; devoted father of Deacon Tom (Pamela) Carlson, James Carlson, Karen (Phil) Kedzuch, Kevin (Kris) Carlson, Amy (Tom) Kuchynka and the late Gerald P. Carlson; loving grandfather of Andy (Austeja) Kedzuch, Nicholas (Jill) Kedzuch, Brian (Ashley) Carlson, Austin Carlson, Corey Kuchynka, Timothy Kuchynka, Steven (Kelsey) Carlson, Christine Carlson, Casey Carlson and Julianna Carlson; great grandfather of Weston Kedzuch; brother of John (Joanna) Carlson, Patricia Carlson, Dave (Mary) Burry and the late Rose (Michael) Calabrese; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 9 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield. Funeral Thursday 9:30 A.M. to St. Barbara Church, Brookfield, Mass 10 A.M.

80 guests maximum will be allowed to attend Mass. Please preregister to confirm your attendance. If you are unsure if you will be attending please DO NOT register.
All State and Federal Covid – Recommendations & Guidelines are followed. All guests entering the building must wear a facial covering and maintain social distancing. A maximum of 50 guests will be allowed at a time to pay their last respects and be received by the family.
Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
