Messages of Condolence

  1. Bernie Orenstein condolence:

I was very sorry to hear about Gale’s passing. It’s been a while since I worked with him at EPA, but it was always a pleasure knowing him and learning from him. Seeing him during his return visits and hearing how much he enjoyed retirement was encouraging, knowing life can be good during retirement. He will be missed. My sincere condolences. Bernie Orenstein.

  2. Janice Anderson Wangerow condolence:

So so sorry to hear of Gale’s passing. We go back a long way – since kindergarden at Altgeld and highschool at Harper. Enjoyed visiting with him at our mini rerunion this past August. He was taking care of his mom and a move to Oregon to be with his family in the years to come. Rest in Peace my dear friend.

  3. Janet Kavcic Bloom condolence:

I was so sorry to hear about Gale’s passing. I worked with Gale many years ago at EPA and recently had lunch with him. He was such a kind and caring person. He will be missed. Rest in peace.

  4. Alicemae (Smith) Kaminski condolence:

I am very sorry to hear about Gale. I went to Harper with him, and although I wasn’t a close friend, I enjoyed having a few laughs with him once in a while. He was a really nice guy!

  5. Mary & Grant Michaelson condolence:

We are so sorry to hear about Gale’s passing. We live across the street and usually see Gale on his walks around the neighborhood, or over to the woods to practice golf. Such a genuinely nice person who took good care of his Mom. Rest in peace, Gale.

  6. Martin Bassin condolence:

I am so deeply sorry to learn of this. Gale was my very best friend at N.B.S. Maybe one day soon, I’ll get to see you again; and we can make up some more names. Rest in Peace my dear friend. Marty

  7. Thomas Golz condolence:

My condolences to Gale’s family. We worked together at USEPA in the late 70’s -thru 80’s. Tom Golz

  8. Nadia condolence:

To the Hruska family, I’m very sorry for your loss. No matter how much time passes we still feel the loss of our loved ones and view death as God does, an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) May you find comfort and hope in His promise at Revelation 21:3,4 that shows soon there will be no more death, and we can see our loved ones again. Please accept my deepest condolences.

  9. PETER TONG condolence:

Gale has been a true friend and inspiration to all around him. A brilliant mind, steady, and totally honest. He had always want to retire in Oregon, but his love for his Mom and wanting to take care of her took precedence. He loved science, the art of investment, and tasty food. I treasure the memories and know that he is in keeping of our Lord. Love you Gale.
