Ljubenko, age 88 of La Grange Park.  Born in Chicago, IL on October 3, 1927 and passed away on February 26, 2016.  U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran, stationed in Japan.  Beloved husband of Olga Ljubenko, nee Deretich, fond father of Stephen Ljubenko and Cynthia Ljubenko, dear brother of Kosto Ljubenko and Luka (the late Lucille) Ljubenko, uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Visitation Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M., Prayer Service 7 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd. 9445 West 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513.  Lying in State Friday, March 4, 2016, from 11 A.M. to Time of Service 12 Noon at Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 5701 N. Redwood Drive, Chicago, IL.  Interment New Gracanica Serbian Monastery Cemetery.  Retired Chemical Engineer at Illinois Institute of Technology Research Institute (I.I.T.R.I.) and Risk Insurance Manager - (I.I.T.R.I.), The Richardson Company and O.S.
