Donald P. Wilferd, age 82, of Brookfield. Beloved husband of Karen Wilferd, nee Lowe; devoted father of Mike (the late Cheryl) Wilferd, Kelly (Ruben, Jr.) Quintana and the late Diane (the late Lee) Smith; papa of Michael (Marie) Quintana, Megan (Joe Elpayaa) Quintana, Matthew (fiancé Lauren Szumski) Quintana and Michelle Wilferd; step papa of Sherina, Diana and Maria; great papa of Noah and Carly.
Don was an Operating Engineer for Local 150, an avid golfer who loved his card nights with friends. Most proudly he was the #1 fan to all his grandkids at everyone of their sporting events.
Visitation Friday, August 5, 2022 from 8:30 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. Funeral Friday 10:00 A.M. to St. Louise de Marillac Church, La Grange Park. Mass 10:30 A.M.
Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
