Donald Joseph Lorr, age 82 of Westchester, Beloved husband of Judith Lorr, nee Kadlecek; loving father of Donna (Jim) Callahan, Doug Lorr and Debbi Lorr; dear grandfather of Harry Smith and Grace Callahan; brother of Patt (Bruce) Roberts; brother in law of Rob Kadlecek; uncle of Cary (Adam), Lindy (Darren) and Karen (Paul); friend to many.
Don’s family would like him to be known and remembered first and foremost for being a family man, prioritizing time with family and friends. He loved fishing, golf and the outdoors. Don was proud to have worked for the McDonald’s Corporation for over 25 years. He also enjoyed traveling, especially spending time in Wisconsin and Arizona.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. 9445 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 10 A.M. at St. Mary of Goystn Church, 445 Prairie Avenue, Downers Grove, IL 60515.
Entombment will be private at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
