Bessie Oplatek, nee Sika, age 88 of LaGrange. Beloved wife of the late Frank J. Oplatek; loving mother of Linda (John) Stock; grandmother of Kendra (fiancé Peter Van Kempen), Lindsay and Brittany Stock; sister to Mildred (the late Curtis) Mentzer; aunt of Milissa (Carl) Dropka and Cary J. Mentzer; great aunt of Michael Dropka and Raymond Mentzer. Visitation Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Thursday, December 17, 2009 from 10:30 A.M. to 11 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield. Service Thursday 11 A.M. Interment Private Bohemian National Cemetery. Bessie was a member of Sokol Town of Lake since 1939 and a member of CSA for over 50 years.
