Obituary


Arthur A. Schuth, WWII Army Veteran serving in Italy for 2 years, age 91 of Berwyn, passed May 13, 2005. He was an honorary member of the Brookfield-LaGrange Park Lions Club and had been designated a Melvin Jones Fellow by the Lions Club International Foundation. The designation is the highest honor given to an individual who adheres to the Lion’s motto “We Serve.” He had also received the “Six Star Gold Book Society Plaque,” from the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children. This award is given in recognition for contributions of $100,000.00. At his request, no services or visitation were planned. Interment Oakridge Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
