Messages of Condolence

  1. Brent Davies condolence:

To the Callaghan clan: Over the years, I have held great admiration for your mom. She raised 5 boys primarily by herself and instilled decency, family values and character that no doubt will be passed on from generation to generation. I am saddened to hear of your loss. She was a quality individual and I always enjoyed conversing with her. My thoughts are with you all during this time. Sincerely, Brent Davies

  2. Joyce Towfighnia condolence:

To the family: I have never had a Teacher, a Boss or a Friend like Addie. My best to everyone. I will miss her more often than anyone could ever know. I had the pleasure to work for her for eight years and to anyone that I have met since..just ask them and they also would know of Addie Callaghan, because wherever I have been and to anyone I have worked for since I have repeatedly told so many people about her! What she taught me crossed not only work & friendship but what she also gave me were “life lessons” that I took with me and still to this day rely on. I will see her as I had so many times Laughing, Loving what she did and so many times Dancing. To her life and her memory..and also a Big Thank You Addie, you knew I loved you too!

  3. Arlene Doherty condolence:

Adeline will be truly missed. We went back many years together,in fact 63. Friends thru School years, weddings, child rearing and many adventurous times. She never complained, just couldn’t understand how all this was happening. God wanted her home with her family, but that didn’t mean that we were ready to let her go. God speed, Caio bella!!

  4. Joyce Gipson condolence:

I just came across this. I worked for Addie and Angela Dunning in Admitting at MacNeal Hospital (1973-1979). She left there and worked at Loyola and was kind enough to hire my sister who was going through an awful divorce and had no skill sets. Addie gave her a chance just because we were friends. She and Linda Kegel and I remained dear friends through the years. Linda moved to AZ and we lost touch with Addie and regretted that. She was a patient, wise, noble, strong woman. She raised 5 boys alone. Who does that? They don’t come any better than Addie. Heaven has gained a wonderful addition and I will never forget her. My heartfelt condolences to all. Joyce Gipson
