Joseph R. “Bob” Piekarz, age 82 of LaGrange Park, formerly of Chicago. Beloved husband of 44 years to Gwendolyn A. Piekarz, nee Czoski; dear brother of the late Ronald (the late Judith) Piekarz and the late Richard Piekarz; brother in law of the late Robert (Ingrid) Czoski and the late John (the late Josephine) Czoski; fond uncle of one nephew and three nieces; friend to many.

Visitation Monday, May 13, 2024 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 9 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513.

Funeral Tuesday, May 14, 2024, 9:30 A.M. to St. Louise de Marillac Church, LaGrange Park, Mass 10 A.M.

Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.

“Bob” as he was known by friends and colleagues was a longtime member of the Antique Radio Club of IL (ARCI), where he was a former 2 term President. He was also an Antique Car enthusiast, loved participating in car shows and proud member of the Lemont Car Club.
