I was proud to have worked with Tom for a decade: we travelled the world, achieved big things and had great laughs together. American to his core, Tom was also a global citizen and represented the best of Americat to the world. His stoicism and courage is an inspiration that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. He was a great man, and now he belongs to the Ages. Au revoir Tom…

My deep condolences to Tom’s family. Tom’s family was always very nice to us all when we invaded their house in the summers of the 80s when we were all home from U of I & were all so carefree. I first met Tom in Paris and I immediately realized how broad his vision & culture were beyond technology and day to day business. I did enjoy the way he would put me at ease during our various conversations.
We had lunch a year ago in Chicago and he was very hopeful.
May this hope be passed on to your family and my dearest thought go to his family.
