Messages of Condolence

  1. Jan Goldberg condolence:

We will miss Shirley very much. We already missed her at RBHS. She was an administrator with a ton of empathy for students and staff alike. She guided me so much when I was a young teacher.
    Please accept my condolences.
    Sincerely,
    Jan Goldberg
    RBHS teacher from 1976-2012

  2. Sharon Sedivy condolence:

To family of Shirley Lewis. I’m sorry for your loss of a wonderful lady. I worked at RB High School with her. She was a great influence to many people.

  3. carl Koch condolence:

I started as a Riverside Brookfield Biology Teacher in 1971 and had the privilege of working with Shirley until she retired. After her retirement, Shirley and I were waiting to be individually interviewed by Gary Prokes for his tv show. We had time to chat and she told the story of just graduating from college. She and friend took a convertible and drove to Mexico City, where they were convinced to get a guide before continuing on to the Pacific Coast. Certainly Shirley had an adventurous spirit! Please accept my deepest sympathy.

  4. Bill & Sue Vanderberg, former faculty condolence:

We have fond memories of Shirley. We worked together for many years at RB. Shirley enjoyed her students as a teacher, Dean, Student Personnel Administrator and was highly respected by all. Shirley was a “go to” person who touched the lives of so many. We extend to her family our deepest sympathy.

  5. Barbara Dunn condolence:
