Richard J. Hurbanis, age 78, of Indian Head Park. Beloved husband of Ruth Hurbanis, nee Adler; devoted father of Kenneth (Joyce) Hurbanis, Kevin (Julie) Hurbanis and Karen (Philip) Morrissey; loving grandfather of Jack, Emma, Ina, Grace, Garrett and Erin. Rich was a 50 Year Mason, currently of Westchester Lodge 995; longtime member of Medinah Shriners, Past President of the West Suburban Shrine Club, and a lifelong member and past Council President of Sts. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church.
Visitation Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 10:30 A.M. to 11 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. Service Wednesday 11 A.M. at the Funeral Home.
Current Covid Regulations allow for a maximum of 50 people in the funeral home at a time. Face coverings are required, the lounge facilities are closed, outside food or beverages are not allowed at this time. All are asked to pay their respects/condolences to the Hurbanis Family, please be cognitive of others waiting to do the same.
Interment Private

Ruth, Kenny, Kevin, Karen and family, God bless you all. So sorry to hear that Rich passed away. I will miss his glorious humor and his fantastic smile but all my memories of Rich will live on until I see him again. You all will be in my prayers. Please take care of yourselves.
