Thomas C. Lombardo, age 51, of Riverside. Beloved husband of Layla Lombardo, nee Elmore; loving father of Jamie Lombardo; dear son of Thomas G. Lombardo and Rosemary Lombardo, nee Miller; brother of Christine (William) Martersteck, Michael (Rachel) Lombardo, Vincent (Hilary) Lombardo; uncle of Matthew, Daniel, Evan, Samantha and Elizabeth; nephew of Therese Lombardo and Marilyn Allen. Visitation Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 2 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. Services and Interment Private. Tom and Jamie enjoyed building robots together. Amongst being an avid GI Joe Collector. Tom loved Fly Fishing, Barbequing, Story Telling, Ocean Kayaking and Hunting. Tom is also a Published Poet, Musician and Artist. In addition to being a World Traveler, Tom worked at Jones Lang LaSalle since 2004 and owned VRI Web Design. Tom was an accomplished Eagle Scout who attended West Leyden High School and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign.
