Beloved husband of Kathleen Birkenmeyer nee, Paveza; loving father of Michael Birkenmeyer; brother of Bonnie Birkenmeyer, Thomas (Deborah) Birkenmeyer, John Birkenmeyer and the late Barry (Doris) Birkenmeyer; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Friday, May 7, 2021 from 3 P.M. until time of service at 7:00 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. Family is encouraging attendees to wear Hawaiian shirts per Steven's wishes.
Current Covid regulations allow for a maximum of 50 people in the funeral home at a time. Face coverings are required, the lounge facilities are closed, outside food or beverages are not allowed at this time. All are asked to pay their respects/condolences to the Birkenmeyer family, please be cognitive of others waiting to do the same.
