Beloved husband of Carol Salvatore, nee Walsh, loving father of Julie Haller and Karen (Russell) Arakawa; grandfather of George (Suzanne) Arakawa, Kevin (Natalie) Arakawa, Kelly (Matt Vidal) Lyons, Alex (Brandi Gee) Arakawa, Nicklaus (Bria Langworthy) Arakawa, Zachary Arakawa, Julianne Pursh, Ryan (Ruby) Pursh, Kailee Pursh and the late Thomas Pursh; great grandfather of Bryson, Oliver, Maisie, Wesley, Theo and Meghan; brother of John (Sally) Haller and the late Jean (the late Stan) Matoska; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 9:30 A.M. to time of Service at 11 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. 

Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
