Robert E. Paul, age 79 of Brookfield, IL.

Bob passed away peacefully following a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, September 5th, 2024. He was born September 25, 1944 to the late Robert H. Paul and Bernice F. Paul, nee Dehlke. Beloved Husband of Stephen - together for 34 years; loving brother of the late Charlene Moravecek.

Bob was with Chicago Public Schools for 34 years, 17 years as a teacher and 17 years as an administrator (Assistant principal/Principal) at Holden Elementary School where he retired in 2004. He was well loved by students and teachers alike.

Bob loved to travel, venturing to China, Hong Kong, Japan, Italy and a river cruise through Europe and many other cruises in the Caribbean, Hawaii and Alaska. He enjoyed spending time at his condo in Racine, WI and Scottsdale, AZ during his retirement.

Visitation  Monday, September 9, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. Lying in State Tuesday September 10, 2024 from 9:30 A.M. to time of Service 10:00 A.M. at Grace Lutheran Church, 200 N. Catherine, LaGrange, IL 60525.

Interment at Elmwood Cemetery following the Church Service. (2905 N Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171)
