Robert F. Celta

Robert F. Celta, age 74, of La Grange Park passed away unexpectedly at his home October 29, 2007; He was born on April 7, 1933 in Czechoslovakia to Leo and Barbara (Huml); He grew up in Chicago, Cicero, and Brookfield, IL; He was a graduate of Riverside Brookfield High School; He graduated from Michigan State University. He was drafted to the Army in October of 1956 and honorably discharged in October of 1958. He served in the Korean War. He married Nancy Camron in October of 1961 in Monroe, Wisconsin; They were later divorced. He then married Clora Jean Krueger in 1978; He worked for William E. Rose and Associates in Hinsdale as a landscape architect until retirement in 1990; He was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Enjoyed working outdoors and watching golf. He is survived by his children Julie (Paul) Saether, Bruce T. (Cindy) Todd, Matthew W. (Carol) Pence, Rhonda J. (Joseph) Lombardi: dear grandfather of 8: great-grandfather of 2; He was predeceased by his parents and his wife of 29 years who died on September 18, 2007; Visitation Thursday, November 1, 2007, 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Friday, November 2, 2007, 10:30 A.M. to 11 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd., 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield.
