Richard Zbierski, age 77, US Army Veteran. Born and raised in South Chicago and a 43 year resident of La Grange Park, has died. His beloved wife of 52 years, Mary Ellen Zbierski, nee Wolfe, was by his side; dear father of Robert Zbierski and William (Michelle Barton) Zbierski; proud grandfather of Elle (8) and Liam (7) Zbierski; dear son of the late Edmund and Lottie Zbierski, nee Pawlowski; brother in law of Richard (Charlene) Wolfe and Shirley Wolfe; cousin to many. Visitation Friday January 8, 2016, 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Saturday, January 9, 2016, from 9:30 A.M to Time of Service 10 A.M at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. Interment Private. Proud graduate of Mt. Carmel High School ('56). Employee of 30 years at AT&T in Chicago and Oak Brook.
