Ralph William Harlander, age 54, of North Riverside, formerly of Berwyn.  Beloved husband of Maria Harlander, nee Becerril; loving son of William Harlander and the late Ramona Harlander, nee Hibner; brother of Karen Harlander; brother-in-law of John (Nydia Campos) Becerril, Robert (Jaime Green) Becerril and the late Rebecca Akhondi; uncle of Magdalena, Olivia and Julian Becerril.  Visitation Monday, August 21, 2017, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 9445 W. 31 ^st Street, Brookfield, IL  60513.  Funeral Mass Tuesday, August 22, 2017, 10:30 A.M. at St. Cletus Church, 600 W. 55th Street, LaGrange, IL 60525.  Interment Private Forest Home Cemetery.  Ralph is a Graduate of Roosevelt University School of Journalism and was an active volunteer for the West Suburban Special Recreation, Primary Leader of All Weather Friends, Fundraiser for the Salvation Army, Member of NAMI Center and a longtime member of the Thursday Evening Club.  Information 708-485-2000 or www.HitzemanFuneral.com
