Norman Gurgel, age 83, Army (1960-1962) Veteran of Westmont, retired postal worker of Western Springs. Beloved husband of Sandra Gurgel, nee Boucek; loving father of Heather (David) Carlile, Tiffany Gurgel and Jonathan (Stephanie) Gurgel; devoted grandfather of Samantha and Zachary Carlile, Jackson and Jakob Gurgel; brother of Lenore (the late Tom) McCauley, Melvin (MaryLou) Gurgel, the late Adele (the late Ted) Heuser and the late Elaine (Alfred) Steinhaus, Sr., uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Norman will Lie in State on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Zion Lutheran Church, 204 S. Grant St., Hinsdale, IL 60521 from 9 A.M. to time of Service 11 A.M.

To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements. The Service is limited to 50 people.

Interment at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Oak Brook
