Michael R. Brown, age 56, of Brookfield. Beloved father of Andrew Brown, dear son of Robert and Joyce Brown, brother of Lori (Scott) Barnes and Tom (Valerie Beach) Brown, uncle of Dan and Cody Barnes. Visitation Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. Interment Private. Mike's love of animals led him to a longtime career as a Brookfield Zoo Keeper. A graduate of Marquette University and UIC, Mike was an avid reader.
