Merle Planeta, nee Stippes, age 77, of Indian Head Park, formerly of La Grange Park. Beloved wife of the late George Planeta. Loving sister of the late Marvin (Patricia) Stippes. Aunt to five. Visistation Sunday, August 22, 2004 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Monday, August 23, 2004 from 12:30 P.M. to1 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd. 9445 W. 31st Street Brookfield. Service Monday 1 P.M. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Merle was a member of La Grange Alumni and the La Grange Women's Club. Merle also volunteered at La Grange Memorial Hospital in the Gift & Snack Shop.
