Mary Ellen O'Regan

Mary Ellen O’Regan, age 87 of Chicago, formerly of Westchester. Beloved sister of

Jack (the late Nevvile) O’Regan, Therese (the late John) Heneghan and Kathleen (the late Kenneth) Lipinski; generous and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her parents Maurice O’Regan and Catherine O’Regan, nee Ryan.

Mary Ellen was a teacher for the Chicago Public School District, teaching at both Marshall and Prosser High Schools throughout her career. Once she retired, she went back to school earning another degree as an Accountant. Mary Ellen is known for her adventurous world travels.

Visitation Friday, September 13, 2024 from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. Funeral directly following at 9:30 A.M. to Divine Providence Church, Westchester, IL, Mass 10:00 A.M.

Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
