To My Mama: It was an honor being by your hospice side 24/7 from 9/11 to 11/11 when you chose to go home Mom. You were the best Mom in life and the best roommate at end of life. I admire your strength and your determination all those weeks going down your own path. I have some great stories of things you communicated to us those days. I know you didn't want to go Mom. You had unfinished business and you had such a strong will to live. I believe you worked your way thru all of that during the month your children were by your side. I know you went home in peace Mom. I'm going to miss your smile when I would wake up and look at me. I'm going to miss that "hi" when you looked into my eyes. I'm going to miss listening to you breath each night knowing I had one more day with you. Mom, it hasn't hit me yet that you are really, truly gone from this earth. But I know that you are in a much better place and with Dad and Nana and Gramps and all those that went before you. And you I know you met the little girl who you called a little Angel up with Randi. You are "Home" now Mom. And I will cherish all the memories of you. I will carry you in my heart forever Mama. I love you! Your loving daughter, Pam

Mom had a wonderful and fulfilled life... Beginning with the Family into which she was born and continuing with the Friends of her childhood, adolescence and adulthood. Meeting a handsome young stranger introducing himself with his promise of marriage, sharing his promise through their marriage, followed by creating a Family of 5 children. Mom was a Telephone Operator and a Business Owner; and more importantly a Wife, a Mother, a Gramma, a Great Gramma, a Cousin, an Aunt and a Friend with an extended Family of Friends from Frank & Marti’s Beach Resort, her neighbors in LaGrange Park and her fellow residents and staff at Beechwood Manor. “Thank you” to all of you who helped fill Mom’s life by sharing a part of yours.
