Marie Trankina, nee Cikanek age 77, of Elmhurst; formerly of Indian Head Park and Berwyn, entered eternal life on August 26th. Beloved wife of the late Frank R. Trankina; daughter of the late Edward and Mildred Cikanek; loving sister of the late Edward (the late Gwen) Cikanek; aunt of Chanda (Bryce) Oliver; cousin of Robert (Jane) Cikanek; great "auntie" of 3; Mrs. Trankina/Ms. Cikanek was longtime math teacher at Lyons Township High School.

Service Friday, September 2, 2022 from 10:30 A.M. to time of Service 11 A.M.
Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
Marie was an active member in the following social organizations; Al-Anon, WoW, Chicago Croquet Club, Lyons Township Highschool Retired Teachers and St. John of the Cross Parish.
