Margaret Smatlak, nee Nemec, age 77, of Westchester, formerly of Brookfield and La Grange Park; beloved wife of the late Charles Smatlak; dear mother of Ellen (James Gunn) Smatlak and Sandra (Scott) Petrucha; dear sister of Marian (Frank) Steinwandtner: Visitation Tuesday, February 17, 2004, 3 P.M. to 9 P.M. and Wednesday, February 18, 2004 10:30 A.M. to 11 A.M. Margaret was a volunteer at Brookfield Zoo, LaGrange Memorial Hospital and Fullersburg Woods Nature Center. She was also a retired long time employee of Riverside Brookfield High School.
