Lois Jean Tornberg, Nee Krebs

Lois Jean Tornberg, nee Krebs, died September 17, 2008, age 72, of LaGrange Park. Beloved wife of John B. Tornberg of 50 years; loving mother of Karen (Beth Cook) and Mark (Denise) Tornberg; loving grandmother of Jonathan and Matthew; aunt to Pamela Folkens and Bruce Vojak; she was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Jennie Krebs and her sister, Arlene Vojak. Lois grew up in Riverside and worked at the Western Electric Hawthorne plant where she met John. Lois and John were members of St. Michaels Lutheran Church where Lois served on the Altar Guild and worked in the library. A lifelong Cubs fan, Lois believed to the end that this is their year! Lois will lie in state from 9 A.M. to time of Service 11 A.M. at St. Michaels Lutheran Church, 500 E. 31st Street, LaGrange Park, IL 60526.
