Beloved husband of Janina Shields; dear step father of Dorothy (Randy) Willis, Barbara Szymanski and Seweryn Sala; grandfather of 4; brother of Robert J. (Chris) Shields, the late Martin J. (Sherrie) Shields and the late Daniel J. Shields; and his parents the late Bernard and Louise Shields; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
