Lawrence Raymond Johnston, 76, of Homer Township, formerly of Bridgeport and Chicago. Navy Veteran. Retired Chicago Police Sergeant after serving 35 years with Chicago Police Department. Forever in love with Jill: endlessly loving, caring, patient and generous dad to Colleen (Bob) Glass, Carrie (Pat) Mortimer and Kelly (Mike) Frumento: "Pa" to Erin, PJ, Brendan, Kaitlin and Grace: loved always and missed by his canine kids Henrietta, PK, Sallie, Emmie, Murphy, Bunky, Sadie and Nalla: son of the late William and Mary Johnston: brother of the late Norman Johnston: uncle to Sgt. William Johnston and Jackie Johnston. Now he is watching over us and our futures as he always has from where it is warm and sunny all the time. We love you so much.
