John Zydek, age 74, of Countryside. Beloved husband of Kathleen Zydek, nee Greene; fond step father of Christopher E. (Casey) Schultz; grandfather of Mazie J. and Tyler; brother of Margaret Zydek, the late Ronald (Barbara) Zydek and the late Edward (Carole) Zydek; uncle of Steve DeGregorio, Christopher DeGregorio and Jessica DeGregorio.
Visitation Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Thursday, March 25, 2021, from 8:45 A.M. to 9:15 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 West 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513.
Due to Covid Regulations a maximum of 50 people are allowed in the funeral home at a time. Face coverings are required, the lounge facilities are closed, food or beverages are not allowed at this time. All are asked to pay their respects/condolences to Kathleen and her family and be cognitive of others waiting to do the same.
Funeral Thursday 9:15 A.M. to St. Cletus Church, LaGrange. Mass time 10:00 A.M.

140 guests maximum will be allowed to attend Mass. Please pre-register to confirm your attendance. Sign up will close on Wednesday at 3 P.M. Walk-ins will be welcome on a space limited basis.
