John C. Rogers, Jr., age 64 of LaGrange Park, IL. Beloved husband of Kathleen Rogers, nee Paratore; fond father of John "Jack" C. Rogers, III and Nicholas Rogers; son of Virginia Rogers, nee Oliver and the late John C. Rogers, Sr.; brother of Margaret (Patrick) Terry, Eileen (David) Langer, Paul (Terry) Rogers and Genevieve (Donald) Schmidt; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
John was born and raised in Wauwatosa, WI and graduated from Wauwatosa East High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI. He earned his Master's Degree from Cardinal Stritch University. John attended St. Francis Xavier Church in LaGrange where he volunteered as an usher. After the events of 9/11, he was moved to help his country and became a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary in the Chicagoland area. He was proud to volunteer alongside active and retired Coast Guard servicemen and servicewomen. He was also a volunteer at Hines VA Blind Rehabilitation Center. John was always prepared and ready to help those in need.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at St. Francis Xavier Church, Corner of Spring & Ogden, LaGrange, IL 60525, from 10:00 A.M. to time of Mass at 11:00 A.M.
Interment Private.
