Joann G. Spataro, nee Brown, age 87, of Countryside. Beloved wife of the late Albert Spataro; loving mother of Carol (Jerome) Raske, Mary (Steven) Bruss and Joseph Muratori III; grandmother of Anthony (Aricka) Sefl, Nicole (Frank) McClain-Ficke, Justine McClain, Gina Muratori, Joseph (Jaclyn ) Muratori IV and Joshua Chalifoux; great grandmother of Anthony Dean, Daniel Johnson and Dominic Ficke; sister of George (Janet) Brown and the late Dolores (the late Joseph) Domanick. Joann loved her cats and John Wayne movies. She was also known for her love of cooking and making sure her family and friends were never to be hungry. Joann was a proud employee for over 20 years of the University Illinois at Chicago.
Services will be held privately on November 9, 2019 by family and friends.
