Janet Marie Samuel, nee Scheidt, age 94 of Plainfield, formerly North Riverside. Beloved wife of the late Richard M. Samuel; fond mother of Karen (Eugene) Farina-Ploskonka, Judith (Jill Skole) Sutter and Barbara Matook; dear grandmother of Kimberly (Israel) Marcano, Sara (George) Buck, Joseph (Katie) Farina, Marie Sutter and Amanda Edmondson; great grandmother of Sadie, George and Tucker Buck and Dominic Marcano; sister of Joyce Mennicke and the late George Scheidt; aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Monday, October 27, 2025 from 11 A.M. to time of Service 12 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. 9445 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513
