Obituary
Gregory John Mallak, age 89, of Darien. Beloved husband of Carolyn D. Mallak, nee Ahmann; loving father of Michael (Jan) Mallak and Michelle (Lorin) Rotstein; grandfather of Jessica (fiancée Nicholas Code) Rotstein, Lindsay Mallak, Allison Rotstein and Abigail Mallak; brother of the late Dolores (the late Harry) Miller; cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 12 Noon to time of Mass 1 P.M. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 8404 S. Cass Ave., Darien, IL 60561.
Greg’s family would like for him to be remembered as a kind simple man. As a consummate host, Greg loved to entertain and his guests never left hungry or thirsty. When not sharing a meal with family and friends, Greg loved to share a game of golf with his buddies and was always there to root root root for the Cubbies.
