Gerard "Jerry" V. Alwin, age 67 of Park Ridge and Berkley, formerly of Westchester and Chicago. Dear brother of Victoria (Ronald) Sears, James (Ilona "Loni") Alwin, Bet Alwin, Ann Marie Alwin; uncle of Christopher (Julia Stemper) Johansen, Ryan (Heather) Johansen, Russel "Rusty" (Dara Goodheart) Sears, Lauren Johansen, Anna (Michael Matson) Sears, Amber (Matthew) Heiser and Josh Alwin; great uncle of Madilyn Johansen, Ryder Johansen, Wyatt Johansen, Vance Heiser, Harper Heiser, Westley Matson, Finnegan Sears and Rory Sears; loving son of the late Bruno Alwin and the late Harriet M. Alwin, nee Cybulski.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 2 P.M. to time of Service 4 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services 9445 31st Street, Brookfield.

Interment Private Maryhill Cemetery, Niles.
