Gerald Alan "JT" Tarbox, 74, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026, in Park Ridge, Illinois.
JT was a talented on-air radio personality and voice-over artist known for his smooth and mellifluous voice. He was also a gifted artist, singer and actor.
JT will be lovingly remembered by his surviving family - wife, Beverly Tarbox (née Hicks); son, Nico Tarbox; brothers-in-law, David Richards, Robert (Grace) Hicks, Blaine Daugs, Jeffrey (Laurie) Daugs; sister-in-law, Cheryl (Robert) Browne; and many extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Tarbox; his mother, Mildred Tarbox (née Hartwig); his stepmother, Gertrude Tarbox (née Klucznik); and his brother James (Janie) Tarbox.
JT's life was deeply rooted in faith; he embodied Christian love and will be fondly remembered by his church families at Sts. Peter and Paul and Trinity Lutheran Church who mourn his loss alongside his family and friends.
Those who knew him will forever cherish memories of his kind and loving nature, his generosity, and his delightful sense of humor.

Visitation Friday, April 17, 2026 from 9:30 A.M. to time of Service 10:00 A.M. at Saints Peter and Paul Lutheran Church, 250 Woodside Rd, Riverside, IL 60546.
