George R. Kolar La Grange Park, IL George R. Kolar, age 79, of La Grange Park, IL, formerly of Cicero, IL, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the VNA Hospice in Valparaiso, IN. He was the loving father of George (Terrie) Kolar and Cathy Dell; loving grandfather of Katie and Geoff Kolar; brother to William (Angeline) Kolar, John Kolar, the late Charles (Irene) Kolar and the late Mildred (late Raymond) Carlson; dear friend of Ann Yost. Preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Anna Kolar. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery, 7600 W. Cermak Road, Forest Park, IL. Family and friends are asked to meet at the main cemetery entrance off Cermak Road (22nd Street). Mr. Kolar was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was retired from Local Union #134, a retired Building Inspector, Electrical Inspector and Fire Chief of La Grange Park, IL. He enjoyed hiking, gardening, tennis and horseshoes.
