Florence Sarabia

Florence C. Sarabia, nee Carroll, age 62, of Berwyn. Beloved partner of Thomas Shanna; devoted mother of Julian Sarabia, Alex (Amy) Sarabia, Matthew Sarabia;  loving grandmother of Chavez Cruz, Jr.; dear sister of Ann (Chester Field) Purdom, Corinne (the late James) McQuilkin, Elizabeth Hasse, Joan Carroll, Joseph (Cyndi) Carroll, John B. (Rebecca) Carroll, Jr., Mary (Robert) Rogers, Timothy (Lisa) Carroll and Cathrine Deady; aunt of many nieces and nephews; loving friend to all who met her; daughter of the late John B. Carroll and the late Florence Carroll.

Florence was a longtime member of St. Leonard Parish. A Pharmacist for over 30 years, she often volunteered at the Greater Chicago Food Depository and in her spare time loved to root for the Cubs. Lorie was an avid concert enthusiast, who loved to sing and dance. She always amazed many with her encyclopedia like knowledge of tennis.

Visitation Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 9:15 A.M. to 9:45 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. Funeral Wednesday 9:45 A.M. to St. Leonard Church, 3318 Clarence Ave., Berwyn, IL 60402. Mass 10:30 A.M.

Inurnment Private Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
