Esther M. Cervak, Nee Bast

Esther M. Cervak, nee Bast, age 90, WWII 8th Army Medical Corps Veteran, of Elmhurst, former 50 year resident of Brookfield. Esther graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a Bachelors Degree in Dietetics, putting her skills to use in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Charter member of St Louise de Marillac Church and The Brookfield Historical Society. After retiring she took up her love of painting and even taught watercolors. Esther was a member of many art leagues and organizations including Brookfield Recreation and LaGrange Art League. Beloved wife of the late Clarence J. Cervak; loving mother of Terry (Maribeth) Cervak; dear grandmother of Julie (Christopher) Christian and Sarah Cervak; sister of the late Theodore (the late Virginia) Bast; aunt of many nieces and nephews.
