Elmer "Al" A. Fischer, age 96, Brookfield resident for 59 years, WWII Army Veteran. Beloved husband of 65 years to Marjorie "Marge" M. Fischer, nee Jaros: loving father of Sandra (Nicholas) Sempowicz: dear grandpa of Nicholas A. Sempowicz and Mitchell L. Sempowicz: brother-in-law of Lester (Grace) Jaros and the late Elmer (Lee) Jaros: uncle of Rodney Jaros and David Jaros: devoted caregiver Svetlana Marzoyeva. Interment Bohemian National Cemetery. Elmer retired from Bell & Thorn manufacturing company after 46 years, serving as the company's Treasurer and CFO. He was a lifelong White Sox fan and an avid golfer. Elmer was an extremely proud grandfather, passing along his love of baseball and golf to his two grandsons. He had a wonderful sense of humor.
