Edward M. Ogden

Edward M. Ogden, a fine Irish gentleman passed away peacefully on July 15, 2018. He was raised in West Layfette, IN and moved to Chicago in the 1940's. Ed's career in the paper industry spanned over 60 years while raising his loving family and enjoying numerous fishing trips and chasing his passion for the game of golf. He is preceded in death by his loving mother Helen, sister Martha, wife Christine, son Sean and his daughter JoAnn. He will be sorely missed and survived by his brother Alfred, children: Tim (Megan), Mike (Jenna), son-in-law Paul and his grandchildren: Brianna, Gianni, Brandon, Taylor, Molly, Julia, Samuel and Liam and his great grandchildren William and Finnegan. Visitation Wednesday, July 18, 2018, 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Thursday, July 19, 2018 10:30 A.M. to Time of Service 11:00 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd., 9445 West 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513.
