Satala, Jr., Sheryl (John) Grever and Mark (Stacy) Satala; grandfather of Matthew (Bridget) Grever, Philip Satala, Laura (Nicholas) Roth, Adam Satala, Kristen Satala, Tara Satala and Anna Satala; great grandfather of Henry, Colin, Charlie, James and Emma; brother of the late John Satala, Jr. and Frank Satala.

Edward was a Korean War Army Veteran, and a long time member of the Masons Sunrise Lodge 996, Scottish Rite, Medinah Shriners, Shriners Hospital for Children, Dobrovsky Club and was a Eucharistic Minister at LaGrange Hospital (25 years).
